Questions about open gym

What's the difference between open gym and strength classes?

Strength classes are coached and capped at twelve people. Open gym is separate: your time on the same floor and equipment, running your own session at your own pace.

Do I need to know how to use a barbell before I start?

No. If you're new to strength training, start with a strength class or a personal training session to learn the lifts, then use the open gym floor to keep building on your own.

What's actually on the gym floor?

The open gym gives you full use of the training floor at Ironbark Strength Club to run your own strength session.

When can I use the open gym?

Open gym hours sit on our class timetable alongside strength classes and personal training sessions.

Can I try the open gym before I commit?

Yes. Start your trial and use the open gym floor as part of it. See the memberships for what's included.

Where is Ironbark Strength Club?

14 Sydenham Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204. Open Mon–Fri 5:30am–8pm and Sat 7am–12pm.
