Before you start
Questions Marrickville lifters ask
Straight answers on joining, classes and the gym floor. Can't find yours? Call the team.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. Every class is coached by a qualified strength coach and capped at twelve people, so you get real guidance whatever your experience. Beginners train alongside experienced lifters on the same floor.
How do I start training at Ironbark?
Start your trial online, then book your first Strength Class or Open Gym session on the timetable. A coach will meet you on the floor and walk you through the space.
What's the difference between strength classes, open gym and personal training?
Strength Classes are small, coached sessions on a set program. Open Gym gives you the floor and equipment to run your own session. Personal Training is one-on-one coaching built around you. All three run from our Marrickville floor.
What does my membership include?
Memberships are Unlimited, Three classes a week or a Ten-class pass. See the memberships for what's included in each plan.
How do I book a class?
Classes run on a timetable. Check the timetable and book the session that suits your week before you come in.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Pausing and cancelling terms are set out when you join. See the memberships for the details of each plan.
What should I bring to my first session?
Wear clothes you can move in and bring a water bottle. Arrive a few minutes early so your coach can walk you through the space before you start.
Where are you and when are you open?
We're at 14 Sydenham Rd, Marrickville. Open Monday to Friday 5:30am–8pm and Saturday 7am–12pm.
